Fxpedition2010, an expedition to the Borneo rainforest.

My first blog!
This is my first time so if its not up to the usual standard please forgive me as I'm still on a learning curve.

The reason for this blog is that I intend to use it as a personal diary concerning fxpedtion2010 to the Borneo rainforest which I'm lucky enough to be a part of and as best I can, give a running comentary on the events surrounding this amazing opportunity!

I'm currently a second year undergraduate studying Geography with Environmental Management at the University of Exeter Cornwall Campus. I first heard of the expedition in the beggining of summer 2009 and luckily got invited to the selection weekend and the rest is history, now me and a great bunch of people from all walks of life and diverse disciplines are planning the adventure of a life time to Borneo in summer 2010.

However, this expedition is far from just a jolly into the jungle, there are some amazing scientific, development and conservation based projects that will be done out there, i'll go into more detail about these at a later date but for now you should definately check out the expedition's website at www.fxpedition2010.com where you can see the rest of the team and find out about our aims for the expedition.
